Intended use: With over 99% purity, our reactant-free silver nanoparticles are ideal for sensitive applications requiring a minimum amount of reactants remaining from the manufacturing process. This product is well-suitable for nanoparticle toxicity studies as well as conjugate development for blotting and electron microscopy applications.
Silver nanoparticles are a great alternative to gold nanoparticles if maximum absorption is desired between 400-500nm. Absorption in this lower range also increases dynamic range when developing multiplex experiments.
Silver nanoparticles are made using a unique proprietary protocol resulting in monodisperse particles and a narrow size distribution (CV <13%). This translates to improved performance in your experiment. In addition, core size batch-to-batch variation is small ensuring that you always end up with the same product.
Store the product in the dark at 4°C.
Do NOT freeze. Freezing causes irreversible aggregation of the silver nanoparticles.
When stored as specified the product is stable for at least 6 months.
