Climate change is one of the most critical challenges facing society today. For EMFUTUR, climate preservation is a key task and an essential part of our strategy. We support the objective of the Paris Agreement to limit global warming to less than 2 degrees Celsius. We are committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal “Climate Action”. We are aware that we can only achieve success together, with committed policies and with a conscientious society.
How can we contribute to guaranteeing and preserving biodiversity?
We depend on the ecosystem and have an impact on it. That’s why we make the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDS) our own.
How do we address BIODIVERSITY?
EMFUTUR contributes to preserving biodiversity and promotes the sustainable use of natural resources:
- Recognizing the importance of natural heritage.
- Respecting and observing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDS) of the United Nations, as well as the objectives of the Convention on Biological Diversity Biodiversity (CBD).
- Continuously monitoring and optimizing our production processes. In this way, we contribute to energy efficiency, resource conservation and climate protection, reduce emissions to air and water and avoid waste generation.
- Providing our customers with innovative products and services that allow them to take advantage of natural resources even more efficiently.
Human rights protect the dignity of each and every person. Respecting human rights is the basis of our social responsibility. Our standards are aligned with internationally recognized principles and meet or even exceed existing laws and regulations.
We support the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and work to align our internal guidelines and processes accordingly. We recognise and support the ILO core labour standards and the Tripartite declaration of principles concerning multinational enterprises and social policy (MNE Declaration), as well as the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
All EMFUTUR employees work under these principles that safeguard their safety, health as well as social and labour standards.
